Yamaha Flute YFL-461

The Yamaha YFL-461 flute comes highly recommended by educators, advancing students, and professional musicians.  Although considered an intermediate instrument, this flute shares many features with professional models; including a sterling silver headjoint, body, and footjoint, as well as open-hole design and accurate intonation. 

This flute is identical to the YFL-481 model, except with an Offset G configuration.

Yamaha’s 400 Series flute models are some of some of the most desired intermediate flutes available today.  With all models in the series featuring a sterling silver headjoint, body, and footjoint, the 400’s are simply the finest in their intermediate class.  The series includes the following three models: YFL-421, YFL-461 (offset G), and the YFL-481 (inline G). Both the YFL-461 and the YFL-481 can be customized with various options including a ‘B’ or ‘C’ foot joint, and/or a gold lip plate.
