Yamaha Oak Custom 14" x 5 1/2" Snare Drum

A feature unique to the Yamaha Oak Custom 14 x 5.5 Snare Drum is the incorporation of an additional short snare beneath the batter head. An adjustment knob regulates snare pressure against the head as required. The bottom head is fitted with a normal hi-carbon steel snare which has strands on the 7-inch drum and 5.5-inch drum.
